The Barn Theatre

Martin County's Oldest Community Theatre

Attention Parents and Grandparents we are gearing up for Camp Barn

This artistic opportunity is available again this summer to campers entering the 4th thru 10th grades.  Participants will experience the excitement of learning new skills, the importance of working as a team and the thrill of performing before a live audience. Camp Barn Theatre is also designed to promote self-confidence and creative expression, while teaching the basic tools of the theatrical trade.
Camp Barn Theatre's mission is to encourage development in the young artist through the strict discipline of theatre, by exploring the many constituents that make up the performing arts. Linda West, Camp Instructor and Director said, "The camp will be a hands-on conservatory theatre program with which students study directly with established local and national theatre professionals.  Not only will students study and practice the techniques for the performer, but they will participate in the elements that support the performer and make the theatre a whole; designing, directing and management."  Over the course of the four week theatre camp, students will work together creatively toward the common goal of producing a two hour musical and comedy production.
